So I've been on this site for pretty close to a year now I believe. And it's beginning to feel like it's time I started doing more than just appreciating other's art. The guilt of just enjoying the hard work of others without contributing anything of my own has finally worn me down.

The only problem is, I can't draw for shit.

I'm serious. I have trouble with straight lines.

For the longest time, this has been what was holding me back from contributing. But recently I realised, "hey, what if I wrote something?"

I'm no award wining author, to be sure, but I enjoy writing when I'm in the mood for it. And other's have told me I have a bit of a knack for it. So now I'm thinking "why not?"

So here's what I'll do. I have a little preview of a story I'm thinking about writing. It's nothing more than a blurb, but I figure it will be a decent enough example of my writing ability. To anyone who's reading this, take a look at it, let me know what you think, and let me know if I should continue writing for DeviantArt.
